Through music, art, design and writing, //\ hoekhuis strives to make sense of the spaces we live and work in through a periodical magazine, one room at a time.

//\ hoekhuis invites practitioners to reflect on their working practice and contribute with a work to one of the rooms in the house. After three issues, this zine brings together the various conversations and contributions that reside at The Entrance, The Study, and The Balcony.

The Entrance, a transitory space between a world inside and outside, where we prepare for what is out there, and anticipate what we will encounter. The Study, with its hidden structures, voices, rituals and unfinished or preparatory works. The Balcony, as a contested site of privacy, a space to perform and desire, and to observe our surroundings.
